LJK retire #8 in honour of Drew Doughty!
The London Junior Knights Board of Directors are pleased to announce the retirement of sweater number 8 in honor of Drew Doughty, beginning in the 2017-2018 season.

This was announced at the banquet during the First Annual Drew Doughty LJK Atom Invitational AAA tournament.  As a graduate of our program, Drew went on to the OHL Guelph Storm, then was drafted in 2008 by the Los Angeles Kings where he plays today. With the Kings he won Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014, and has also won two gold Olympic medals in 2010 and 2014.  Drew was the Norris trophy winner in 2016 which is awarded to the best defensemen in the NHL.  We are very proud of Drew’s accomplishments and take pride that he played in our program where he remains friends with former coaches and teammates to this day.
