Players
and family members of the Atom AA Green team participated in the annual CIBC
Run for the Cure event held on Sunday September 30th. With all players having someone close to them
affected by either Breast Cancer or a form of Cancer it was important to show
their support. Each player was given a
goal of raising $150 giving them a team goal of $2550 to support the cause. Thank you to those who supported our efforts
and helping the team not only meet their goal, but also surpass it with a grand
total of $3500.
As the players walked to the start/finish line, the players started to strategize on how they would complete the 5k race. The final decision was that they would run the race as a team. Great job boys on supporting this great cause, running the race as a team and representing the London Junior Knights respectfully.
