U13 AA Green Claim International Silver Stick Glory
A huge congratulations to the U13 AA Green team for their incredible victory at the International Silver Stick tournament this past weekend!

Facing one of the most competitive round-robin divisions, the Junior Knights battled to an impressive 2-0-1 record, securing their spot in the quarterfinals. There, they faced a familiar foe—the Dallas Penguins, a team they had tied earlier in the tournament. After surrendering a two-goal lead in the second period, the Knights regrouped, turned up the intensity, and dominated the rest of the game, securing a decisive 7-3 win to advance.

The semifinals brought an even tougher challenge against the highly ranked Littleton Hawks. Trailing 4-2 late in the third period, the Knights showcased incredible heart and determination. With under four minutes remaining, they sparked an electric comeback, scoring twice within a minute to force overtime. Riding that momentum, the Knights wasted no time in OT, netting the game-winner just 48 seconds in to punch their ticket to the championship game.

In the finals against the Greater Toronto Capitals, the Junior Knights came out flying, setting the tone early with relentless pressure and offense. They jumped ahead with an early lead and never looked back, en route to a thrilling 5-3 victory to claim the International Silver Stick Championship.

What a remarkable weekend for this talented group of players!
Congratulations to the entire U13 AA Green team, the dedicated coaching staff, and the supportive parents who helped make this achievement possible.

The Knights’ grit, resilience, and teamwork were on full display - LJK proud!
