Rochester Thanksgiving Classic Champs!!!
Another Great and Successful Weekend.
WOW! another incredible weekend for the Minor Atom AA White Team. We started the tourney off with a tough game against the Garden City Jr Falcons which ended in a tie. Dusting our selves off after that game we never looked back and with 3 solid wins to follow we found ourselves in the finals against a very determined Jr. Falcons team looking to finish off what they started. The boys fought hard in what proved to be a very energetic and rough affair against two very determined teams. With the flood gates opening up in the second we capitalized on all our chances finishing the Gold Medal game with an impressive 7-2 victory. So very impressed with the effort and maturity the boys displayed this weekend, they are truly a special team and I am personally very proud to be their coach!
A very special thanks to all the parents whom without there support and cheers would not be able to successfully compete at this level. This win was for all of you as much as us!
I would also like to congratulate the LJK Minor Atom AA Green Team on their Gold medal performance at the Nations Cup....way to go boys!!
