In September you bring us together to form a team, we become a team because you volunteer your time, commit to teaching us the sport, hold us accountable for showing up and shine the light on what we do well.
A season requires a lot of time to coordinate, prepare and strategize, but it also requires a lot of patience to deal with whatever shows up either on the ice or off the ice. An adaptable and flexible approach serves the team by helping to maintain perspective. A well-balanced bench staff committed to a hockey team builds character, strength, courage and most of all - relationships.

Thank You to the following volunteers who were responsible for all the various tasks that were time consuming, but necessary to provide time and opportunity for the team:
- Kelly Aitken and Doris Brennan Fundraising - coordinating the logistics with various vendors and getting the boys organized to participate - no easy task with a busy hockey schedule fitting this in.
- The Long Family and The Walker Family Jersey duty - dependability and diligence in washing, hanging, airing out and lugging back and forth to games.
- Mark Elgersma Treasurer - establishing the team account, coordinating team funds, maintaining the budget, being the money guy and holding us accountable for staying on budget.
- Parent volunteers who have helped with various events and asks through the season - many hands make light work.
- Kelly Aitken Community Commitment - Parkwood Visitation and Coach4Food Coordination.
- Diane Elgersma Community Commitment - annual Christmas Shopping trip for a family in need.
- Tamara Blair Social Committee Coordinator - coordinating tournament meals keeping the team healthy and well fed ready for game play.
- Jake Norris on-ice helper at weekly practices.
- Chris Tidd - back-up First Aid responder, parent health and wellness coach.
