International Silverstick AA Midget Champions
The AA Midget team participated in the Stratford Silverstick tournament in December, although they didn't come away with a win during this tournament (silver) they were invited to participate in the Sarnia International Silverstick on January 11, 2018.
The boys played 5 games over 2 1/2 days coming away as the champions with a shutout on January 14. Congratulations. Special mention goes out to Adam Hartley who manned the net for all the games.
The team also received 2 awards from the tournament:
- Lyle Kirk Memorial Award - awarded to the Midget Team displaying the honourable qualities of good discipline, attitude, ability and conduct
- John Slobodnik Memorial Award - awarded to the Midget Team with the least penalty minutes throughout the North American Silverstick Tournament
