From Coach Elver:
It is my pleasure and honour to announce that The LJK Minor Atom AA White Team - players and parents along with our coaching staff have "Teamed Up" with Make-A-Wish to raise funds this year to help grant Alex, a 5 year old Senators Fan his ultimate wish - A Trip To Walt Disney (just happens to be my favorite place).

Please help our team make this dream come true... For Alex!

As The Head Coach for the 2017/18 London Jr. Knight Minor Atom AA White Team one of my initiatives this year with my hockey team was to come up with a way that our players could give back to the community.  As a volunteer with Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario I felt this would be an ideal organization to support.

During the early part of our season, we as a team met with representatives from Make-A-Wish and I am very pleased to say that we have now been assigned a family, and as a team have decided that our fundraiser will be a Skate a Thon.  The premise of the Skate a Thon will be to have each player and coach skate 100 laps on The Western Fair London City Rink as a team over a two hour period.

We have been able to Secure ice on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm.

The goal is to raise $10,000 to grant this wish

Yours in hockey,

Darrel Elver

Head Coach

London Jr. Knights Minor Atom AA White
