The Annual Iron Horse Class event in its 7th year, will be held August 18th, 2018 at Caradoc Sands, Strathroy, ON.  The event is in support of raising funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease”.  Previous year’s events combined have raised over $50,000 for ALS Canada. Congratulations to Cooper Brabrook on receiving the 2017-18 Larry McGrath Scholarship Award.

Each recipient has been awarded a $2000.00 Scholarship towards post secondary education.

The NHL announced on Monday each club’s nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, awarded annually “to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”
The only King to have won the award was Dave Taylor in 1991.
This year they have nominated Drew Doughty!
