London Junior Knights

A huge congratulations to our U13 Green players who, this past weekend, won the 32 team division Oakville Winter Classic!  Our boys went undefeated, taking 13 of 14 points, before winning all three games on Sunday, giving up only one goal all day long!   It was a grueling schedule and tournament that required incredible team synergy and timely contributions out of all 17 players!  From start to finish, this was an enormous team effort capped off in a most exciting, emotional and exhausting OT – Shootout win late Sunday evening.    Congratulations gentlemen on an incredible weekend!

Our sincere graduations to both former LJK graduate players Drew Doughty and Nick Suzuki for their selection to Canada's Olympic Hockey team.  Having two former LJK players representing Canada is simply amazing.  We know they both will be instrumental in the success of our chances at winning an Olympic Gold Medal. Our sincere congratulations to our U16 AAA Team for winning the Toronto Marlies Holiday Classic. Coached by Dan Syvret the team went undefeated playing against 50 AAA teams in their division.  These represented some of the top ranked AAA teams in the province and the USA.  The boys played a skilled disciplined game and represented the LJK and our program admirably.  They beat the host team 3-2 in the final.  Also, a big thank you to the coaching staff as like the boys it was a team effort all around.  LJK Proud

Nick Suzuki kindly met with Erik Stoyanovich’s under 11 AAA team this past weekend in Pittsburgh while competing in the Mid-Winter Classic.  A true ambassador for our program no doubt made the weekend a very memorable one for all involved. Not only the Captain of the Montreal Canadians but quite likely an Olympian very soon.

Congratulations to the U11 Green team for bringing home the Kirk Kelly Atom AA tournament title from Newmarket this past weekend!  The kids went 6-0 while playing some of their best hockey yet.  Congratulations to the players on a total team effort for their 4th tournament win of the season!
