Atom AA Green - 2018 Kawartha Lakes AA Champs

The Atom AA Green team
took part in the 2018 Kawartha Lakes AA Tournament during the weekend of
September 14th – 16th.
With the forecast on our side coupled with a great schedule, players,
siblings and parents were able to enjoy the cottage resort; swimming, fishing,
canoeing and kayaking amongst playing the five needed games to be in the
finals.
After a great game against Oakville early Sunday morning and losing 2-1, we would meet them again in the final game. This time, the outcome would be different. The Players battled back with a late third period goal to tie the game 1-1 and eventually ending up in overtime. It didn’t take long in OT period for the players to end the game with a 2-1 win and “putting the icing” on a great weekend.
