Mike Ikeno Memorial Golf Classic Cancelled
Submitted By Webmaster on Thursday, June 18, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we are officially announcing the cancellation of this years Mike Ikeno Memorial Golf Classic due to Covid 19 and social distancing concerns.

Since 2016, (the year of Mike Ikeno’s passing) with the funds raised by this annual Golf Tournament, $20,500 has been distributed to 21 families (24 players) within the LJK organization with funds to help them offset some of their costs of playing on their respective London Jr Knight’s teams.

The intention is to annually continue to assist similar families with sons/daughters playing for the London Jr Knights.  We are planning on having the 4th Annual Mike Ikeno Golf Tournament next summer to again raise funds so that we will be able to help more families. Mike believed that every kid should have a chance to play the game that he loved so much at the level suitable to their skill level.

We anticipate that this upcoming hockey season will prove to be challenging for more families.
We are still hoping to be able to help some LJK hockey players through small donations however.

If you are interested, the ways to donate are as follows:

Eventbrite – https://annualmikeikenogolfclassic4.eventbrite.ca

Gofundme – gofundme.com search Mike Ikeno Memorial Hockey Fund

Etransfer to: [email protected]

Thank you again for all your support during the past golf tournaments.

Stay safe and stay healthy.

See you on the golf course next year
