UPDATE: LJK Spectator Prohibition
Submitted By Webmaster on Friday, November 27, 2020
As a result of the announcement below, we are pleased to report that parents/guardians have been successful in collectively taking the steps needed as Ontario was downgraded from a green to a yellow rating.  Your adherence to the spectator prohibition demonstrated that parents/guardians are willing to take the necessary precautions to safely continue the hockey season for our players.

As a result, the LJK Board of Directors would like to re-extend the opportunity for one parent/guardian per player, to attend practices and/or games effective Friday, November 27 at 11:59 pm. In doing so, it is important that we continue to adhere to the London Middlesex Health Unit and arena protocols with the expectation that spectators:

  • Must adhere to social distancing rules while on arena property.
  • Can enter the arena 5 minutes prior to practice/game and must exit the arena immediately after.
  • Spectators may not gather within the arena hallways.

We are confident that our LJK parents/guardians will continue to respect and adhere to requirements to keep our players, spectators, and arena staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Should the London Middlesex Health Unit and arena protocols not be followed, the LJK Board of Directors, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, will have no choice but to remove the opportunity for spectators to be in the arenas for the duration of the 20/21 season.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to try to navigate this challenging season.
