2021-22 Jeff Dunlop Leadership Award
Submitted By Webmaster on Mon 07 18, 22
Congratulations to Avery Thomsen who has been selected as the 2021-22 recipient of the Jeff Dunlop Leadership Award!  Avery was a member of the U13 AA White team this past season.  Not only was she the lone female player on this team but she was also their Captain!

The Jeff Dunlop Leadership Award is generously sponsored by Integrated Digital Solutions (IDS) and is presented to the player who best demonstrates great leadership and character through her/his consistent hard work.

This award is about recognizing a leader whose actions speak as loud as her/his words
.  Avery is a shining example of this and is so deserving of this award!

Avery’s coaches described her in the following ways:

  • She was a quiet leader but worked very hard to keep the team together during some trying times…
  • Avery led by example…
  • Against players bigger and stronger, she didn't shy away from physical play and set a great example for the rest of the team to follow.  She was the toughest D on our team to beat 1v1.  All of our opposition noticed her…

The London Jr. Knights are very proud to recognize Avery Thomsen as the winner of the 2021-22 Jeff Dunlop Leadership Award!

Great work Avery!!!
