To the London Jr Knights Community,
We are very excited and pleased to announce a significant change with regards to our AA seeded teams for the upcoming 2024/2025 hockey season.
In an effort to promote player development of our existing talent base within our organization, our LJK board is in agreement for a two team tiered AA structure beginning at the U11 level and up, thereby departing from our traditional format of two balanced LJK AA teams going forward.
Several factors contributed to this decision and we understand this will result in a big change for a number of people, however we are confident an internal tiered two team AA structure will further enhance player development for the benefit of our LJK players.
Please note that our AAA structure remains unchanged and this is a AA pilot program that will be regularly monitored by the LJK board.
