The London Jr. Knights U15 AA Green Team delivered a storybook ending to an unforgettable season, capturing the 2025 U15 AA OHF Championship on home ice at the Western Fair on April 20.
As both the tournament hosts and Alliance Champions, the team knew the spotlight
would be on them — and they rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion.
The tournament opened with a tough test against the #1 ranked Vaughan Rangers.
Despite a strong effort, the Knights fell 4-2.
Undeterred, they bounced back in a rematch of the Alliance final, battling the Kitchener Jr. Rangers to a 3-3 tie.
Saturday saw the team find their stride with two clutch wins — a thrilling 4-3 victory over
the #2-ranked Nickel City Cubs and a gritty 2-1 win against the Milton Winterhawks —
securing a spot in the Sunday semifinals.
In a dramatic semifinal showdown, the Knights once again faced Vaughan and this time
came out on top, winning 3-2 in overtime in front of a roaring home crowd.
The final was just as electric, as the Knights met Nickel City in a championship battle for the ages.
After trading chances and goals through regulation, London sealed the deal with a 4-3
overtime victory to claim the 2025 U15 AA OHF Championship.
Through effort, attitude, and pride, this team showed the entire province what London
hockey is all about.
Congratulations to the players, coaches, families, and fans!
