Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive
We are pleased to announce that we are co-hosting a hockey equipment drive in collaboration with a sports charity called Their Opportunity and their main program called the Indigenous Hockey Equipment Drive.

This is the first time this organization is coming to the London area, and we are planning to make it a huge success. Other groups involved include ALLIANCE Hockey, the Greater London Hockey Association, the London Jr Knights, the Elgin-Middlesex Canucksthe University of Western Ontario Hockey program, and the OHL London Knights will be promoting the event as well.

This initiative has been very active in Ontario for over 10 years and since inception they have gathered, sorted, and distributed over 5,500 bags of gently used & new hockey gear and over 10,000 sticks to 70 Indigenous communities in Canada, mostly in Ontario, including many local Indigenous communities in southern Ontario.

Please help us by donating gently used equipment, including Hockey Sticks / Shin Pads / Shoulder Pads / Elbow Pads / Pants / Skates / Gloves / Helmets / Bags.

Please note, we cannot accept the following: socks, jerseys, neck guards, undergarments, and goalie gear.

A quote from the organizer Graham McWaters: " We are changing and saving lives when we provide hockey equipment to Indigenous Youth".

Please share the attached poster and the following details with all your hockey friends and families and through social media so we can make this a great event.

Date: Saturday. September 27th, 2025 9:00am – 2:00pm
Location:  Earl Nichols Arena, 799 Homeview Road
