Peewee AAA Alliance Champions
The London Junior Knights Major Peewee AAA team gained back to back birth’s into the OHF finals with their Alliance Final win over Sun County.

The win was the third straight Alliance Championship for the 1999 AAA age group.  The Playdowns were full of team character building, the boys persevered through injuries and suspensions, and not one game was played with a full compliment of players.  The boys stuck together and remained focused on their goal of reaching the OHF’s.

The first series started with the Junior Knights eliminating the Sarnia Lambton Junior Sting in 5 games while facing elimination earlier in the series.  The Junior Knights then took on the Huron Perth Lakers and defeated the Lakers in 5 games as well.  Both teams provided the Junior Knights with great competition and prepared the team for the final series against the Sun County Panthers.  The final series was a battle every game, both teams played outstanding hockey and kept the fans on the edge of their seats!  The Junior Knights prevailed in game 7 with a 2-0 win.

The Major Peewee AAA’s will now travel east down the 401 to take on the best teams in Ontario – Quinte Red Devils, (OMHA Champs), Thunder Bay Kings, (HNO Champs), Nickel City Sons, (NOHA Champs), Toronto Nationals, (GTHL Champs), Ottawa Valley Silver Seven, (ODHA Champs) and the Waterloo Wolves, (Alliance Host).  The tournament begins on Monday April 9th and concludes on Friday April 13th.   The London Junior Knights Major Peewee AAA team is focused on representing the London Junior Knights Association well in Waterloo.  The team would also like to wish the all the best to the Major Peewee AA team in their OHF finals.
