Oshawa Generals defenceman Josh Brown has been selected 152nd overall in the sixth round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers.
"Josh deserves so much credit for his contributions to our team this season. He was under the radar all season except for those of us that watched him on a daily basis . He is a quiet leader and brings a steady presence on our blue line. Like Cole he is becoming a key member of our leadership team here as well."
Josh, a native of London, Ontario was selected by the Generals 44th overall in the third round of the 2010 OHL Priority Selection. Known for his size and physicality, the 6 foot 5 inch defenseman won the Oshawa Generals Fitness Arad this spring.
