2017-2018 Tryout Schedules
Submitted By Webmaster on Tuesday, March 28, 2017

The 2017-2018 tryout schedules have been revised.
Please locate the revised schedule for your players age group.

The London Junior Knights are proud of all of the players in our program.  Our high winning percentages and our history of graduating players achieving success at higher levels of hockey indicates that we are, by far, the most successful organization in the Alliance and one of the most successful minor hockey organizations anywhere.  This is a testament to the London Junior Knights' dedicated coaching staff and the development opportunities that exist within the City of London.  More than that, it is a testament to the number of highly skilled players that compete each year for the limited number of spots available at the AAA and AA levels.

Unfortunately, because of numbers, not every player capable of playing at the AAA level will necessarily be successful in making a London Junior Knights team this year.  Roster sizes are limited.  Our AA teams offer a viable opportunity to continue play at a high level under excellent coaching to develop your skills and to compete in following years for a spot on one of our AAA teams.

There is a further alternative about which we would like to make parents and players aware.

When a player who tries out does not make our AAA team, we will (on request) issue an F1 Waiver.  For Minor Atom to Major Peewee this waiver will allow you to move on to the next adjacent center to tryout.  In terms of London, this would be Elgin.  After Elgin you must contact the Alliance office for any further permission to move on.

For players at Minor Bantam to Minor Midget having their F1 waiver,  they can attend ANY Alliance Centre without automatically going to Elgin.

In order to facilitate that opportunity, we will delay commencement of our AA tryouts until all Alliance organizations have completed their AAA tryouts.
Our AA tryouts will therefore commence on Monday April 26, 2017.

Should a player who has pursued the above opportunities be unsuccessful at other AAA centres, we look forward to seeing you at our AA tryouts.
Best of luck to all players.
