Wow What a Game and Weekend!
Congratulations Minor Atom AA Green on a fantastic weekend.
After falling behind 4-1 in the semi-finals of the Kawartha Lakes tournament this past weekend the Minor Atom AA Green team never gave up, scoring 3 goals in the last 4:30 of the game, including the tying goal with an empty net and :24 left on the clock. No one knew what would be coming next.....an 11 round shoot-out with a full house of fans watching this absolutely incredible game and comeback. Unfortunately the team fell short in the shootout but what a start to the season.
Thanks to everyone for making this weekend a truly memorable hockey experience for everyone. I think most would say it was truly the best hockey tournament experience ever.
Congratulations to the Minor Atom AA White team on their win at the tournament. It has been a fantastic start for both teams so far this season.
