Making Christmas Wishes Come True
Very special thanks to Lisa Miller for coordinating a very successful Christmas Drive. LJK Peewee Green successfully collected and donated several gifts in support of two families in need, through Craigwood services. The families will wake up to a wonderful Christmas morning full of great items for each and every family member.
Great Job Lisa

IKO Roofing • Waterproofing • Insulation
IKO is a pioneer and leader in the global roofing and related products industry. The company was founded in 1951. It first manufactured building paper and then expanded to include coated roll roofing. Its first asphalt shingle was made in 1954, and the rest, as they say, is history. The company thrived and grew, first establishing itself in eastern Canada with the opening of the Brampton, Ontario, shingle plant in 1959. Success in Brampton led to further expansion, next into the European market with the construction of a shingle plant in Ham, Belgium, in 1972. Expansion continued in Canada, with the addition of a new facility in Hawkesbury, Ontario, in 1976. IKO entered the U.S. marketplace in 1979 through various acquisitions and has since expanded its presence by building new plants across North America. The most recent plant to open was in Sylacauga, Alabama and another is currently under construction in Hillsboro, Texas. In all of its plants, IKO implements a program of continuous improvement that includes updating equipment and refining systems and processes in order to maximize efficiency and productivity, reduce waste and enhance performance and safety.
Sifton Properties
In 1923, Harry Sifton built his first house at 587 Rosedale Avenue in London, where it still stands today. His introduction of building several homes at one time on speculation proved so popular that from 1940 to 1948 construction grew steadily to 20 homes a year. Five hundred houses later, he passed the torch to his son, Mowbray. Under this new leadership the company began assembling large tracts of land, positioning Sifton Properties for a full scale foray into land development and diversified construction. Through innovation in design, forms of housing and material usage, Sifton remains at the forefront of the home construction industry. This spirit of innovation remains today, and has enabled Sifton to diversify into office construction and leasing; retail construction and leasing; industrial construction and leasing; residential rental accommodation, including apartment rentals and townhome rentals; retirement living communities and property management.
