The Wicked Tea

was only a young child with my first memory encounter with herbal tea. I remember my mother would always making up pots of camomile tea with honey, usually for when we got sick or on a cold winter night. It was then that I developed the understanding that the tea experience was something you enjoy and share with those around you. That same understanding of tea would later became my mantra for life. The earlier moments of my life weren’t always so great. I had faced a few challenges with my health, work, family and friends. These experiences quickly taught me how much I needed the support from the people around me to get me through it all. All this revolved around a cup of tea usually a black chai (one of my fav's). At night after I put my children to sleep I would pour a cup of tea. It was my time. The moments I gained from drinking tea began to again remind me of the joys found in simple pleasures. WICKED Tea Company is about you. Its your moment. Enjoy it! With this philosophy I was inspired to create a way to refocus my life and create something that allowed me to share what I enjoyed most. This thought would evolve into the business that became WICKED Tea. Sifton Properties

In 1923, Harry Sifton built his first house at 587 Rosedale Avenue in London, where it still stands today. His introduction of building several homes at one time on speculation proved so popular that from 1940 to 1948 construction grew steadily to 20 homes a year. Five hundred houses later, he passed the torch to his son, Mowbray. Under this new leadership the company began assembling large tracts of land, positioning Sifton Properties for a full scale foray into land development and diversified construction. Through innovation in design, forms of housing and material usage, Sifton remains at the forefront of the home construction industry. He grew up in the Oakridge area of London graduating from Oakridge High School in 1983. He has been married since 1989 and lives with his wife, two children and one dog in the Masonville area. Dr Ley graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in genetics from the University of Western Ontario in 1987. Dr Ley graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distnction from the University of Alberta in 1991. Dr Ley received the added level of distinction with his dental degree by having achieved honours marks in each of his four years at dental school. He was presented with several awards in each of his four years at dental school. Dr Ley is unique among general dental practioners by having completed three additional years of post graduate training. These include a one year General Practice Residency from the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington Vermont (1991-1992) and a two year residency in Oral Implantology and Biomaterials from Brookdale Hospital in New York City (1996-1998). In addition to full time dental practice Dr Ley also is an Adjunct Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. Dr Ley served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Oral Implantology from 1999 to 2008. Dr Ley has published several articles and a textbook chapter relating to implant dentisty. Dr Ley has presented lectures relating to implant dentistry in both Canada and the USA including the Implant Maxicourse in New York City. ×
