Our beginnings… In 1980 Doug Ellison, President and CEO of Ellison Travel & Tours, opened his travel company in a small basement office in the Exeter Town Hall with 2 employees. Today, we employ over 80 people in 6 locations, Exeter, London, North Vancouver, Ottawa, Halifax and Toronto. Prior to opening Ellison Travel & Tours, Doug spent 14 years in education at the high school level, 13 of those years at South Huron DHS in Exeter. As a teacher, he organized school trips for students which sparked his interest in travel and he has never looked back. About the LMBHA: The London Minor Ball Hockey Association was founded on the premise of FUN! We are attempting to provide an affordable solution for children of all ages with the fun and excitement that they would enjoy playing our great Canadian past time of ice hockey. All that is required to play is an ice hockey stick, CSA approved helmet along with a full face shield/cage, athletic support, shin pads (soccer style) and hockey gloves. We also recommend and encourage any other protective equipment you feel necessary. We encourage all skill levels to play, hence our motto; BALL HOCKEY, A GAME FOR EVERYONE. Whether you are new to the game of ball hockey or you are looking for a way to stay in shape and hone your skills in the off season. ×
