North London Toyota North London Toyota, formerly known as Competition Toyota, is proud to be the first Toyota Dealership in London, Ontario and the 3rd oldest Toyota Dealership in Canada, being established in 1965. Competition Motors Ltd. first opened the doors at 1206 Oxford Street East on September 22 1965 with William Henry "Chip" Comstock as the General Manager. The Dealership had a major fire in 1977 with roughly $250,000 damage caused to the showroom and parts department. The Dealership changed ownership over the 49+ years in business with Kevin Laurie finally taking over as General Manager in May 2011. On March 23 2018, Competition Toyota closed the doors at 1206 Oxford Street and officially opened our new facility in the north end of London with a new name, North London Toyota on March 26, 2018. Our new state of the art (36,000 sq ft main level) new dealership features a 17 new car showroom, separate Pre-Owned Supercentre, 16 service bays, 4 detail bays, 9 service drive-thru bays, 118 underground vehicle storage/showroom and a separate car wash!
