CCM Notre Dame Shootout (December 8-11)
The U13 AAA London Junior Knights participated in the CCM Notre Dame Shootout showcase from December 8-11.
The team had a great weekend of hockey playing against several top ranked teams played right at the University of Notre Dame Compton Family arena. The team finished with a 5-0 record and placed first overall having only given up 4 goals all weekend. The team had strong performances from the goalies. The defence was rock solid all weekend and the team got rounded out scoring from all the forward lines.
The team also had the opportunity to watch a Notre Dame and Penn State hockey game. This was a fun evening and an experience of a life time. The home team Irish won 5-3. The sold out arena and the University band made for an electric atmosphere. To top the weekend off a tour of the Notre Dame men’s locker room put the boys in shock as the facility was absolutely beautiful.
