Third-Party Instructors

Any individual that is providing instruction on-ice or off-ice to LJK Teams must be registered in the HCR database as an OHF Third-Party Instructor

The Third-Party Instructor qualification is a new qualification in the HCR which indicates that the individual has completed their screening through the OHF, paid for Hockey Canada insurance, and completed the required Gender Identity and Expression Course, Respect in Sport – Activity Leader, and Rowan’s Law Waiver.

Instructions for Registration as an OHF Third-Party Instructor can be found here;

https://www.ohf.on.ca/risk-management/third-party-instructors/

The LJK is not responsible for OHF Third-Party registration. Please contact the OHF contacts listed in the registration pages regarding any issues that you have registering.

OHF Third-Party Instructors that wish to provide instruction to LJK TEAMS must be added to the LJK – At Large - Third-Party Instructor roster - contact Kevin Bergeron - [email protected]

NOTE: It is the responsibility of all LJK Coaches to ensure that ANY person outside of your team is an approved rostered individual. Any LJK Teams using Third-Party Instructors not on the LJK – At Large - Third-Party Instructor Roster will be subject to sanctions by the OHF, Alliance and the LJK.
