This weekend the Minor Bantam Gold team traveled to Troy Michigan to participate in the Can-USA Friendship Series.
In game 1, the Knights came out strong, after a successfull exhibition schedule, against a very good KVR team. They followed the game plan that Coach Dave and the staff have been working on over the preseason and skated away with a 6-3 victory to start the weekend with a positive note.
Game 2 was against a very strong and determined Livonia team. After jumping out to a quick 2-0 lead, and then 3-1, the Knights started to allow the determined group from Livonia back into the game. The final score ended tied at 5-5. Both clubs played well. Next up for the Knights games against St. Clair Shores and Bloomfield Hills.
