Minor Peewee AA White, U12 (Minor Peewee), 2018-2019 (London Junior Knights)

Congratulations to the Minor PeeWee AA white team on winning the Chatham Silver Stick Tournament!The boys played a number of games over the weekend of December 7th, and were undefeated in the tournament despite being up against some very talented teams.  This included a Saturday game where they were able to squeak by the Tecumseh Eagles for a 1-0 win.  The final game against the Sarnia Sting was hard fought, and the Sting proved a worthy opponent as they always do!The boys are excited to be heading to the International Silver Stick in Newmarket in January.

On the weekend of September 14th-16th the LJK Minor Peewee AA white team travelled to Peterborough to play in the Kawartha Lakes AA tournament.  This event is one of the top AA tournaments in the province with a number of top ranked teams who consistently attend year after year.  This year was no exception as 4 of the top 6 provincially ranked teams from 2017 registered this year to play. The majority of this team played in this event the past two years and with semi-final losses both years we knew that this event was going to be a test.

Thank you to all the players for their hard work over the last week and a half.  This has been a difficult process and we have made some difficult decisions.  If your name is not listed below please report to your home centre. If you require feedback on the process please contact me in 24 hours. Players selected are asked to attend the mandatory signing meeting this Sunday at 12 noon in the Resource Room at the Western Fair.
