Our beginnings… In 1980 Doug Ellison, President and CEO of Ellison Travel & Tours, opened his travel company in a small basement office in the Exeter Town Hall with 2 employees. Today, we employ over 80 people in 6 locations, Exeter, London, North Vancouver, Ottawa, Halifax and Toronto. Prior to opening Ellison Travel & Tours, Doug spent 14 years in education at the high school level, 13 of those years at South Huron DHS in Exeter. As a teacher, he organized school trips for students which sparked his interest in travel and he has never looked back. Ellison Travel & Tours is one of the largest Canadian owned travel agencies in Canada yet has all the advantages of a small-town business: friendly, personal attention, long-serving employees and a superior level of expertise and service. ×

North London Toyota North London Toyota, formerly known as Competition Toyota, is proud to be the first Toyota Dealership in London, Ontario and the 3rd oldest Toyota Dealership in Canada, being established in 1965. Competition Motors Ltd. first opened the doors at 1206 Oxford Street East on September 22 1965 with William Henry "Chip" Comstock as the General Manager. The Dealership had a major fire in 1977 with roughly $250,000 damage caused to the showroom and parts department. A new addition was then added onto the building to provide more room, which eventually became the Business & Accounting offices. The Dealership changed ownership over the 49+ years in business with Kevin Laurie finally taking over as General Manager in May 2011. On March 23 2018, Competition Toyota closed the doors at 1206 Oxford Street and officially opened our new facility in the north end of London with a new name, North London Toyota on March 26, 2018. Our new state of the art (36,000 sq ft main level) new dealership features a 17 new car showroom, separate Pre-Owned Supercentre, 16 service bays, 4 detail bays, 9 service drive-thru bays, 118 underground vehicle storage/showroom and a separate car wash!
